Buffalo (Si:wolo)
A buffalo, as with most animals, is to provide plenty of food for the tribe. The hide is used for clothing, the bones for carving and some say the horns have healing medicine.
The detail in this Buffalo is very good. Carved by Zuni artist Abby Quam of Magnasite (wild horse) the fetish has turquoise inlay eyes and inlayed heartline. Standing approximately 2 inches in length and 1 inch high, he will add to the quality of every collection.
