Sonoran Gold Turquoise is a brand new finding from the Sonoran area of Mexico in the city of Cananea. The mine is about a 35 minute drive from the Arizona boarder. Unique to this turquoise is the fact that it actually forms inside clay deposits as individual nuggets. This particular necklace earring set is crafted by a Navajo artist named Shirley Henry from Gallup, New Mexico. Set in solid sterling silver with over 40 stones being used to create this beautiful design. Measuring approximately 28″ in total length, each side has 5 sets of the 3-stone cluster design ( 3/8″ x 1″ ) , with middle cluster using 9 larger stones ( 2″ x 2″ ). One of a kind piece.
