The black you see inside the inlay work of this pendant is actually a fossilized wood called “Jet”, used primarily by Inlay artisans due to easy of use and its ability to shaped. The design here is referred to as Night Sky and reflects the dark skies of the southwest and our star gazing. Sterling silver is used to make the round stars, cultured opal is used for the stars, comets and shooting stars. Coral makes up the red moon.
