Renown Navajo artist Albert Jake has created an outstanding bracelet that is a signature of his ability ! The extra silver details throughout this bracelet make this a special piece. Measuring 7/8″ in width, it has over 5″ of silver on the inside with a 1″1/4 opening. The dark oxidation and black onyx stone give this a antique look.

Product Description


Onyx is a chalcedony quartz that is mined in Brazil, India, California, and Uruguay. It has a fine texture and black color; however, some onyx also displays white bands or ribbons against a black or brown background and this variety is known as sardonyx. The name comes from the Greek word onyx.

Albert Jake: was born in 1959 in the Zuni Pueblo south of Gallup, New Mexico.  He learned silversmithing from his parents. He specializes in traditional set stones and cluster jewelry with intricate stamp work. He has been smithing since 1987.  He also creates sand-paintings and makes pottery. During the summers he works as a forest fire fighter. He lives with his wife and two daughters today in Rahmah, New Mexico, near the Zuni Pueblo.
